Our “Solution” to Too Much Snow
One of our readers pointed out that after we switched our blog picture to one with a “spring” theme, record snowfalls began. So, in a bit of reverse psychology, we’ve posted a snowy winter theme picture in the hopes that we have seen the end of snow for this season.
While we are talking about snow, a shout-out to the Queens Fresh Meadows management for its snow removal during the past few weeks. Residents reported rapid responses to all snowfalls as well as path and step clearing that was superior to past years’ efforts. Tenants can help future efforts by refraining to park their cars in restricted areas such as fire zones (this not only impedes snow removal but creates a public safety hazard) and calling attention to any areas that may need a second look.
UPDATE 2/20/2014: Having chased away the snow, we have changed the formatting of our blog to make it easier to read past posts. In doing so, we’ve eliminated the header photograph. But we promise that we will bring it back should weather conditions warrant!
